Is Music too Sexed Up? Adele's manager shares his thoughts

Yes! But you don't have to sell yourself for success

The man behind Adele's global success has said he felt "queasy" at the sight of female popstars using "faux porn" to get to number one. Richard Russell, founder of Adele's record label XL, told the Guardian: "It's just so boring, crass and unoriginal." He went on to say Adele's massive success made her a great role model for young girls and could even change the face of the whole industry. "Not only are young girls going to see that, but [also] the business people who are behind all those videos. It's going to make them rethink what they should be doing."
